Programming at the Craft Centre

About Our Programs

The Craft Centre provides a facility enabling members to work on their arts and craft projects focusing on pottery, weaving and woodworking.

As a registered charitable organization, the Craft Centre supports hobby and recreational artists by providing shared studio access for learning, skill development, and creative exploration and is not intended to support commercial or production-based enterprise.

Beginner courses in our core areas are taught by senior members.

The Craft Centre is run by volunteers who contribute their time to enable the studios and organization to continue to function successfully.

Each member is expected to:

  • assist with clean-up of craft areas after each class
  • assist with Craft Centre activities by signing up for a volunteer position or tasks
  • be respectful of operations and staff within the building
  • be respectful of volunteers, and other members along with studio facilities and supplies
  • abide by the bylaws, policies, and objectives of the Craft Centre
